Ah, Andrew Bolt, such a font of knowledge and reasoned thought.

He's the Alan Jones of Victoria, although he tends to be even more over the top. His interview with John Safran and Father Bob a few years back was interesting, as a way of understanding how the hell he justifies such mis-information like this to himself. He belives himself to be a true sceptic, but like many of the extreme self-proclaimed sceptics it tends to be a blanket to hide the fact that they are really anti-change and after popular acclaim, since true scepticism should seek out and weigh up ALL the evidence, not just the bits that fit your beliefs.

It'll be interesting to see what he says about the bushfires. I'm sure it won't relate to the effects of global warming at all.

A sidenote: there's a reason I hate the term "global warming" as it allows any idiot to say "it's colder this year, it must be false" as opposed to "climate change" whereby you say "it's the coldest on record, bugger, the climate is changing" which is the effect we'll actually feel.
