I don't think they care what you call them as long as you make a fuss about them being big enough to wear them. I can't get any small enough for Gemma, so she will have to make do with training pants. Not that she's ready for knickers quite yet anyway.

And the cross bones and skull jockies are just too cute.
(NB boys knickers in our house are called jockies, except if they're big boy jockies in which case they're known as Reg Grundies)

apart from that, 'knickers' is unisex, at least in our family.
