a note to my son on the occasion of his teething

I understand that it must hurt having those sharp pointy little teeth force their way even further out of your gums. I know that you have very few ways of expressing your feelings and crying and whinging is right at the top of your list. However, I can't do much more to make it better and the constant whining is wearing me down and it would appreciated if you'd stop.

kind regards,

your mother

I feel sorry for the both of you!
I think you should save this to show him on his 21st, along with anything else embarrassing. Oh, the guilt trips you could get mileage out of with this... Teehee

heh yes that's the awesomeness of the interweb... you can keep all of these for him as retribution ;)

it's funny, that last mother's group when we were round at your place, his cheeks were the *brightest* red and I wondered if he was teething - it can be a classic sign. and it was!

hearty Congrats, Torbenspang, now stop driving mummy (even more) to drink. unless she's enjoying it (the drinking I mean)!

The solution is right under your nose... in the wine-glass shaped glass...

All you need to do is *share* your wine. So when he drives you to drink, you share. And the pain goes away. For both of you.
