Once a week (generally) my lovely husband takes my lovely child away for a few hours. As someone who is usually really really crap at 'alone time' I can't tell you how strange it is that these few hours are so very very very lovely. I get to play about on the 'net for as long as I want, I can read my book in peace or watch dodgy TV safe in the knowledge that no-one will interrupt me. It's just delightful!
It's kinda weird that doing these very mundane things becomes so necessary when you have a baby. Having a few hours alone a week keeps your sanity. Now to keep tooling around on the 'net before my keyboard locks up (don't ask me why it does it, it just does)
