Yaaaaaaaaaaaaawn

Thursday night was coffee & bisskits turned wine o'clock (we had to console ourselves you understand) and I got to bed around midnight.

Friday night was The Snowdroppers at The Annandale Hotel. Was a hoot and music was great, night would have been better without the fuckwits who were determined to push in front ad create as much chaos as possible. I finally crawled into bed around 1.

Last night was eatinbg of own body weight in deeeeeelicious lambykins and pumpkin at P&F's house. Due to 2 games of Settlers of Catan, we all left rather late. 1am again for bedtime.

Three nights in a row of late bedtimes has left me a weeeeeee bit sleepy today. Combined with the muscle soreness from dancing on Friday night and I really just want to lie in bed all day.

yummy breakfast at the markets and a nap will have to suffice though I dare say.

zzzzzzzzz

I don't know if it was the quick swim in the pool with Torby and the other munchkins, the ninner at the pub, the two glasses of wine with ninner, the massive sleep debt I carry around or maybe a combo but man-oh-man was I sleepy last night.
We got home, popped munchkin into bed, watched another episode of Big Love and I was asleep by the end of the episode and it wasn't even 9pm.

Now for an exciting day of entertaining munchkin while keeping out of the carpenters hair (Yay we will soon have living room windows of smoothness and workingness and stuffness)

Thankfully Thursday is coffee and bisskits day so we shall have our morning taken care of.

:(

There are few thing in life that are more hateful than a failed nap

The recent trip to exotic Melbourne can be summed up thus;
2days traing = bleurgh
1 night drinking with chums = much laughter and frivolity and not-even-single entendres
1 morning spent wandering around city with a friend eating jam donuts from the Queen Vic Markets = lovely

All in all the good stuff outweighed the bad. It was, however, fabulous to come home to the boys. Torby even gave me lots of hugs and kisses the next morning.

Unfortunately, I came home exhaustemerated (yes, it's a word) and so despite having 6 lovely friends come over for dinner, I went to bed at 9:30...it was that or fall fasleep in the yummy pudding and custard.

Speaking of sleep, I think it's back under the covers for me....I think I'm going into hibernation for winter...see you in spring
